2013: Day 64 - St. Camillus de Lelis' Heart at San Pedro Cathedral

While I was talking to my hubby on skype and browsing the facebook, I saw my classmate Ryan posted pictures of St. Camillus veneration. I then started to search about St. Camillus if who is he. I found out that he is a saint of the sick people, nurses and doctors and there was this feeling or urge deep inside me to go for there will be a mass at 12 noon. I think it was God telling me to go. I asked permission from hubby and went to San Pedro. I arrived there before 12 and was able to witness and see the heart of St. Camillus and said my prayers asking his intercession. I also write the name of my hubby on the envelope for people who are sick and they will pray for them. I also went to the line where the priest will pray over you.. When it was my turn, I told the father to pray for my hubby who is sick and will have his surgery on the 15, I showed him the picture of my hubby and prayed over. Thank you so much Lord. What an opportunity for me to know a saint like St. Camillus de Lelis. I admire him really and want to be also like him to help the sick and I thank you Lord for this opportunity because I am a nurse and it is my calling. I love you Lord. Thank you for showing me things, good things, very inspirational. Thank you Lord so much.
