Day 6. Cebu - Our last day

Me and Hubby woke up around 6 am and it was raining hard with strong wind, I thought it was a typhoon but thanks God it was not. The rain stopped around 9 am and checked out time was 12 noon.. So we decided to go to the Lapu-Lapu Shrine, we just took a jeep and thanks God because the people I asked were all good in their responses and also the jeepney drivers. It was a 15 minutes drive to the shrine, we got inside and took some pictures. It was not that big park but its very peaceful, clean, nature because so many plants around and it was something like a memorial place where Lapu2 killed Magellan in that place.

Inside the Shrine, we bought some pasalubong like shirts and key holders. After shrine, we went to nearest Church where I found by just asking the people in there. We took a small paddle bike going there and it was about 5 minutes ride. 

After church, we went back to the hotel by riding a jeep again. It was already 11am when we arrived in the hotel and we were hungry so we decided to eat inside the hotel at Zubuchon restaurant.

After lunch, we went to the room to get our luggage and had our checked out by almost 12 noon. Our flight still in the evening so we left our luggage in the counter and went to other side of Mactan. We took a jeep going to the right where the route of the jeep marked Simbahan Cordova, I asked the girl inside about that church and she said yes I know that church but I did to search on my phone about that church and found out that it was not a Catholic church so I asked the girl about Gaisano grand mall instead and she gave me an instruction how to get there. We got out from the jeep and so happened that there was a church named Birhen sa Regala. Many were going there so we went, said our prayers and took some pictures. 

After church, we went to grand mall gaisano by riding a small trike. It was a little bit far but we had no choice because we needed to do something before our flight at 8 PM, we got almost 6 hrs to kill.

After the grandmall, we took two trikes back going to Gaisano Mall. When we were inside the mall, we just walked and found out that they were having a program inside.We witnessed some magic tricks and dancing. We had some fun watching the show and then around 4pm we went to look for the Shamrock store near the mall to buy some Otap as pasalubong to our family. It was just a walking distance and then we decided to take a walk going back to the hotel. This was the funny part because we didnot even know how long or far it was. We did it just to kill the time. We got tired of walking and so we stopped in the internet cafe to relax and my hubby was able to check his email. We spent 30 minutes there and continue our walking again. Thanks God we made it back to the hotel safely but we decided to have dinner for the last time at La Tegola but it was closed so we ended up at Da Vinci Pizza, it was ok but not really the best. We went back to the hotel to get our luggage and took taxi to the airport. We had our checked in at 6PM. The plane left 15 minutes past 8 and we arrived at Davao airport past 9 PM. What a day! thanks God for the safe travel all the way. We really had fun at Cebu and my hubby likes it there so much. Hoping to be back there again one day.

Day 5

Me and my hubby woke up around 6 am and it was raining very hard. We waited until the rain stops then we went to go swimming in the pool. It was kinda cold but we had no choice because we would check out at 12 noon.  We enjoyed swimming together with my hubby, at first there were only 3 of us in the pool then another two men came. We got out from the pool for a while to have our buffet breakfast. We stayed there for less than an hour and my hubby went back to the pool again but I didnot go swim because the sun was already out and was searching in the net about our next hotel.

At 12 noon, we checked out and took taxi going to our next hotel in Mactan, the Island Stay.  We got there before 2pm and the room was not ready yet so we decided to roam around and look for a restaurant to have a lunch.

After lunch we got back to the hotel to check-in.

We rested for a while and around 4pm, we decided to go out and look for the place where we would have our banca cruise experience.. We arrived to the place, very early but there were 3 ladies there already. We stayed there until the boat arrived and had the cruise.

We really had fun on our banca cruise experience for 2 hrs especially the view and picture taking. It was past 8pm and we haven't eaten yet so we walked around Marina Mall to look for something to eat.. It so happened that there was this taxi driver pointed to us the Italian restaurant so we went there and tried.

My hubby really likes the pasta and it's so obvious by the picture above. I also like the taste of the pasta I ordered. After dinner, we just walked going to the hotel which is 200 meters away, not far.

What a nice day! Thank you Lord.

Day 4

We woke around 6 am then had our free breakfast on the rooftop.  I did one more photos before leaving.

 Then we went to the lobby to wait for Loloy.  While waiting.... 

When Loloy arrived we decided to go walking around and reached the Capitol. It was so hot but we needed to sacrifice and walked around for the last time in the cebu city proper area because we will check out by 12 and transfer to a new hotel.

After capitol, we started walking back and passed by Shamrock to buy some Otap but we found out that they have a branch in Mactan, where our 3rd hotel will be, so we decided not to buy yet. While walking, I read the signed board Balamban Liempo and it went into my mind about what I read about it, a must try in Cebu. I told my hubby and Loloy that I want to have my lunch there so we did. It tasted good unlike the liempo in Davao. 

After lunch, we walked going to our hotel passing Loloy's apartment..

Thank you so much Loy for being with us for 4 days, walking around, taking pictures and guiding us. We really had fun. Until next time again.

Me and hubby went back to the hotel to get our luggage and go to our next hotel, the Montebello. We took a taxi going there.

We got lucky and had our early check-in before 2pm.  We stayed inside the room, arranged our stuffs and shower. We decided to walk outside going to IT Park, I didnot expect it was far but still we managed to walk. 

After IT, we went to take a jeep going to SM but we stopped at Ayala because its nearer to the hotel. We just walked, looking for a place to eat but we had not chosen any so we decided to eat at the hotel resto.
We took taxi going to the hotel and had our dinner there. I ordered pasta and my hubby availed the buffet.
