Holy Thursday

Holy Thursday or Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus with his apostles.
What did I do today? Here is a list of the things I did..
1. Listened to a Homily of a Priest on TV.. very nice homily.. It is all about remembering Jesus on how much He Loves us before He died just like we remember our loved ones or friends who is far from us.
2. Arranged my things.... Happy that I was able to do something worth it today.
3. Watched TV.. Its been a while I have not turned on my TV here in the room, maybe already 1 or 2 months.hehe
4. Watched DVD about upgrading your skills in photography and videography from Sony.. got this for free from sony. learned something new things but not a lot.
5. Prayed the Holy Rosary.. at last.. Its been already months since I last prayed my rosary. Said my prayer.. so thankful to God for all the blessings and sorry for my trespasses. Help me God to do what is right.
6. Talked to my hubby. I miss my hubby so much and couldn't help tears fell from my eyes tonight.
7. Did this post.

Why faithopelove?

Faith, Hope and Love are the three important virtues in life for these will remain forever. I got these words while listening to the homily of a priest when I was attending a Sunday Mass. The priest said something that these 3 virtues are very important in life. Yes, indeed they are and it is written in the Bible about Faith, Hope and Love in Corinthians.
Love

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud. It is not rude,
it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes
always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are
prophecies, they will cease; where there
are tongues, they will be stilled;
where there is knowledge, it will come to pass away.

For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
but when perfection comes,
the imperfect disappears.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

NIV... I CORINTHIANS 13: 4-13

Faith

Faith begins by believing
in your heart that what is right
has a chance.

Faith is knowing in your heart
that good can overcome evil,
that the sun can shine
in a rainstorm.

Faith is peaceful
and comforting, because it
comes from within
where no one can invade
your private dreams.

Faith is not something
you can demand or command;
it is a result of commitment to belief.

Faith is believing in something
you can't see or hear,
something deep inside
that only you understand
and control.

Faith is trusting in yourself
enough to know that no matter
how things turn out,
you will make
the best of them.

Hope

Hope is not the closing of your eyes
to the difficulty, the risk,
or the failure.

It is a trust that ...
If I fail now...
I shall not fail forever;
and if I am hurt,
I shall be healed.

It is a trust that
life is good,
love is powerful,
and the future is full of promise.

First Timer

This is my first time to make a blog. I don't know much about how to lay out my page yet but i will get in there in time. One time at a time. I make this blog to post things i have been doing and my experiences in life. I'm still learning though on how to edit some features here.
